We are excited to announce that ECHN has partnered with The Vascular Experts of Southern Connecticut Vascular Center, the third largest group of board-certified vascular surgeons in the country, in order to provide vascular services to our community. As a result of this partnership, and through joint recruitment efforts with The Vascular Experts, ECHN is also pleased to announce that John Pietropaoli, MD, has agreed to join the practice and will provide continuous vascular support and coverage, 5 days per week, starting on or before April 1, 2015. Dr. Pietropaoli completed his vascular fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota and is the founder of The Center for Vascular Medicine in Maryland. A second vascular surgeon, Jeffrey Ranaudo, MD, will be joining Dr. Pietropaoli in our Manchester location as of July 13, 2015. Dr. Ranaudo received his Board certification in October of 2014 and is completing his Fellowship at Beth Israel Medical Center, in Newark, New Jersey.
The Vascular Experts will begin seeing patients on February 16, 2015, as our relationship with Yale Medical Group will be coming to an end the day prior. Physicians from The Vascular Experts will be in the Manchester office three days per week as of February 16, until Dr. Pietropaoli’s start date, which is dependent upon the approval of his medical license with the State of Connecticut.
This will be a seamless transition for our vascular patients, as the same phone number (860-533-6551) and office location (29 Haynes Street, Suite D, in Manchester) will be utilized in order to provide these services.
All physicians from the Vascular Experts are looking forward to being involved in the Manchester community and playing an integral role in the education of both current and future staff, PA’s, and residents. The Vascular Experts will set up grand rounds as well as CME lecture programs, and will be involved with hospital affairs and leadership positions.
We are happy to help facilitate this process in any way we can, and please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns.
