Eric J. Maldonado, MD, RPVI
Dr. Maldonado is a board-eligible vascular surgeon who joined The Vascular Experts in March 2026. He is a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery and the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Maldonado earned his medical degree from the Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. He went on to complete his vascular surgery fellowship at Florida Atlantic University at Delray Medical Center in Delray Beach, Florida where he received advanced training in the diagnosis and treatment of complex vascular conditions.
Dr. Maldonado provides comprehensive care for a wide range of vascular diseases, including superficial and deep venous disease, arterial insufficiency, aortic aneurysms, carotid artery stenosis, and dialysis access maintenance.
Dr. Maldonado will be treating patients in our Fairfield and Stratford offices. He is fluent in Spanish and provides care for Spanish-speaking patients.
