Richard M. Margules, MD, FACS Joins Largest Group of Board-certified Vascular Surgeons in the Nation
DANBURY, C.T. (January 16, 2018) – The Vascular Experts, the largest group of Board-certified vascular surgeons in the nation, has added Richard M. Margules, MD, FACS to their medical staff. Dr. Margules, a Board-certified general and vascular surgeon with more than 40 years’ experience, has joined the team at the Danbury office location.
Dr. Margules brings extensive vascular experience to The Vascular Experts. Renowned for recognizing the need for specialized vein care in the Danbury community, he developed the Laser Vein Center of Connecticut.

Dr. Margules is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the New England Vascular Society and the Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery. He is also a member of the Connecticut Board of Surgeons and is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at the University of Vermont. He is very active with patient care and teaching in the Danbury area.

Dr. Shue completed her residency in vascular surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine where she received multiple teaching awards and was involved in clinical trials for management of critical limb ischemia and carotid disease. Dr. Shue’s clinical interests include endovascular and open management of aneurysmal, carotid and peripheral arterial disease.
Dr. Baxter completed his residency at New York University Langone Medical Center and completed a fellowship in the medical center’s Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Division. He has held extensive research and volunteer experience at Cornell University, and assisted with provision of clinical care and administration of medications while volunteering in Africa.
